Joshua was diagnosed with T Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on 14NOV08. This blog is a way for Joshua to share his battle plans with all of his friends. We will try and keep it updated as much as we can. Please feel free to leave comments, pictures, etc... all of Joshua's hospital locations have internet access and he will read them as often as he can. Thank You to everyone for all of their thoughts and prayers! Keep them coming!

Gramma Linda
Hi Josh!
My name is Carol and I'm your Grandma Linda's best friend "in all the world" (she calls me "Sweet C"!). The picture of me was taken on my birthday this year (as you can see, I'm really "old"! - Grandma Linda isn't quite as old as I am, but she's close!!!). I was at the beach to celebrate! (that was in October.)
Grandma Linda has been keeping me posted on how you've been doing and I think you must be the bravest fellow in the universe. You look wonderful in your pictures and I understand that you're doing well. I pray for you every day, often several times a day, and keep you in my heart all the time - you, your Mom and Dad, and Jarrod, too.
My family is going to the beach (Nags Head, NC) for Thanksgiving week - something we do every year. We like to have stuffed shrimp with our stuffed turkey!! Do you like shrimp?
Yesterday, my husband (Nat), found a puppy wandering in a highway median, so he gathered her up and brought her home! (We already have 4 dogs and 4 cats!) She's a lab/chow mix (she has spots on her tongue like a chow, but she's solid black!) She's adorable (no name yet) and this morning she was wagging her tail and chewing on my ankle! Guess she feels safe and at home which is good!
Josh, I hope you have a good day and and especially wonderful Thanksgiving. With each improvement, I know all of your family and friends count new blessings and thanksgivings.
With love from a new friend,
Sweet C
