Joshua got an early start with Miss Caroline to get his IVIG transfusion. Like always she got him accessed and hooked up without a fuss. Joshua spent the rest of the morning and early afternoon toting around his IV pump unit he was done around 2:00 just in time to jump online with his class and do a timed writing assignment. This poor kid just can't catch a break when it comes to school work, seconds after having a needle pulled out of his chest he has to sit down and try to focus on a creative writing assignment. But being the trooper that he is he gave it his best shot and got it finished.
He relaxed for a bit until we went out to skate around 5. The weather has cooled off and it was a really peasant evening to be outside. We came in and had a bite of dinner before the hockey game got underway. The Bolts played great and Steven Stamkos got a hat trick which made us all whoop and holler for a bit. They ended up winning it in OT and as soon as it was over I ushered the boys off to sleep. A fun end to a long day for Joshua.
I really don't know how he does it...

Hey Snuggle Monkey,
You are a trooper. That's a fact nobody can deny. Glad to hear the treatment went well and you were able to complete your assignment.
And Go Bolts! Perfect way to end a day.
Keep kickin butt Mighty Warrior. You are my Champion.
Tons of Love, Hugs and Kisses,
Nonna
