Joshua headed of to the clinic for his first set of labs after getting off of treatment and they all came back just fine which was a big relief for all of us. They also tested his IVIG levels to see if they are holding steady but we won't have the results of that until later in the week.
Last Friday Joshua took part in the Cut for a Cure event where celebrities volunteer to have their heads shaved to raise money for pediatric cancer. Several of the Lightning players lead by their captain Vinnie Lecavalier took part again this year and Joshua got paired up with our Newfie brother Teddy Purcell and got to help shave his head. They have raised over $250,000 so far and we are extremely proud to have Joshua take part in their fund raising efforts.
