I'm hungry.
Music to my ears. Two words we have been wanting to hear for quite a long time.
We heard that many times today. Joshua had another really good day and he was hungry. Especially for spaghetti with butter. Good old, real, fattening butter. Eat up young man. It is very encouraging that he has continued to have a good appetite and he is actually gaining a little weight.
He has really perked up starting with his party yesterday. It is a welcome change from the rather frail and sickly boy of only a week ago. Renee and I think it is because he finally got to go and play with kids his own age. He got a chance to have fun even though he is still "sick". I hope it sticks. Last month really took a toll on Joshua's spirits but he is bouncing back quickly. Every day at home helps brighten him right up.
He managed to help mom sort through a bunch of old toys in his room today that he wants to give to the Children's Hospital. Jarrod has also gotten together a bunch of things he wants to give to the TCE. They are both very concerned that the kids on TCE have lots of stuff to play with.
In the morning he goes to the clinic to get a CBC to check his counts. Hopefully they have stayed up since we left the hospital. After that he is off until Thursday when we go in for a day of procedures and chemo.

Hey Snaggle Snuggle Monkey,
What a wonderful birthday you had. I am glad to hear you are getting back to the usual, perky and strong Joshua! I hope you can stay that way.
Great pictures Lee! I almost feel like I was present at Josh's party.
Renee, you outdid yourself with the cake! I think they call that a 'labor of love'.
I love the 'belly photo'. Jamie's going to need a wheelbarrow before too long.
Tons of Love, Hugs and Kisses,
Nonna
Glad you had a good birthday weekend. Keep up the good work with your eating - you're doing great!
Scarlett Truong (Hayden's mom)
