Dentist and dinner… Day 721 04NOV10

Joshua had to go visit the dentist this morning to get some work done. His teeth are in decent shape but need a little bit of rebuilding right now. The chemo apparently can affect his enamel and may contribute to some of the problems he is having now. Top that with the fact that any time his platelets were low he could not brush his teeth at all. He did great and he is actually in need of less work than we originally thought. He will go back two more times to get every thing taken care of. He seemed to enjoy the laughing gas :) As soon as he got out of the chair they headed to meet me at the Children's Cancer center for a meeting with Leanne followed by our family night dinner and group. The kids had a good time even though they couldn't play outside due to the rain we got today. We had a chance to get caught up with everybody and get to hear how everyone has been doing in the last month. So it was a busy day filled with lots of different things. Tomorrow brings Joshua's teacher and hopefully a continued good attitude from Joshua concerning his schoolwork.

Hey Snuggle Monkey,

Love the mask! It would make for a great Halloween costume next year.

Glad to hear the dental work is not extensive.

Here's hoping school work today is a piece of cake for you.

Keep kickin butt Mighty Warrior. You are my Champion.

Tons of Love, Hugs and Kisses,

Nonna

Hi Gandy family! On behalf of the Mira Lago development in Ruskin I have some exciting news to share with you. You have been chosen by the Mira Lago community as this year's recipient in our Holiday Decorating Contest fundraiser. Please contact me so we can discuss specifics as soon as you can. We now only have a few short weeks to make this happen and we're hoping for a hugely succesful event. I've giving Coco Lewis my phone #. Thanks!
