Fire fighters… Day 726 09NOV10

Joshua and Jarrod got to see today what fire fighters do and some of the equipment they use. Ben who is a volunteer with the Children's Cancer Center is also a fire fighter and he arranged for the kids to come down to the main fire station and take a tour. Jarrod and Joshua got to try on Ben's fire fighting suit, they climbed all over the fire trucks, and generally had a great time. Before the tour Joshua had a play date with Wojtek and his mom. Renee and Ania made gnocchi while the kids played which I am sure will be delicious. Those two are always cooking up something yummy.

Jarrod suited up and ready for work

It won't be long before he starts to drive for real :)

Tampa's finest!

The Christmas cards from the CCC are now available at most local Publix supermarkets. We dropped off a display at our local store this weekend and will be keeping it stocked until right before Christmas. The calendar that the boy's artwork is featured in is also for sale in the same display. All of the cards feature artwork by kids at the CCC and they are really cute.

The rest of the day was about normal with the boys and I getting a little playtime in outside and a nice walk after dinner. We are counting down the time until we get to go to camp this Friday. The boys are really looking forward to going and Joshua is going to be our official tour guide. I am sure he will do a great job.

Hey Snuggle Monkey,

Looks like you guys had a ton of fun! Jarrod appears ready to be a firefighter already. And you, my little monkey, were just too cute trying to fill out the suit!

Hope you all sail through the rest of the week getting ready for camp.

Keep kickin butt Mighty Warrior. You are my Champion.

Tons of Love, Hugs and Kisses,

Nonna
