Planted… Day 454 10FEB10

Joshua had kind of a rough day today. He was pretty tired from going to the hockey game last night and slept till after 10 this morning. He had a lot of school work to get done but he was having a hard time getting motivated. He said he had a headache and then a back ache so he spent most of the time on the couch with the heating pad. He did manage to get some of his work done but there is till a bunch to get caught up on before we got to Camp Boggy Creek this weekend.

This afternoon he was feeling a bit better so he helped me clean up the cars a bit and then planted a project that Nonna started with him many months ago when she was here. She had put an avocado seed into water and because she has a thumb as green as an emerald it grew and grew. Joshua was waiting for the weather to warm up a bit before he potted it and today was the day although it really hasn't warmed up all that much. So we now have a avocado tree growing in our sun room. I told Joshua we would move it outside when it touches the ceiling, which by the looks of things will not be too far in the future.
