Guess where we are... Joshua has been running a low grade fever since yesterday, around lunch time today it started going up, so we are back at the hospital for a few days. We are very thankful that we got to have Joshua at home for a while. They are giving him antibiotics and IV fluids, his white blood count today is 14 (it went up a little) and all of his other labs look good. This is another speed bump for us to get over. He will stay in the hospital until the fever is gone and his white blood count comes up a little farther. He is scheduled for more treatments on Monday so I am pretty sure we will stay until at least then. He had another chest xray before I left and that should be it for the night so hopefully he can get some rest and start feeling better.

Day 16 Update - 28NOV08

Dear Josh, So sorry to hear that you're back in the hospital - but that's the best and safest place to be until your fever is gone and your blood cells start fighting back like you are. You get some rest, Buddy, and remember we love you. Miss Laura
Hey Joshy! We are so glad to see you are resting. We could tell you were very tired on Thanksgiving. We pray your stay is very short at the hospital and you will be home again soon. KNOW that we are keeping God busy with all our prayers for you. Thank goodness he is a good listener! ;)

Hey Little Snuggle Monkey, I am so sorry you are back in the hospital. I had fun talking to you last night and I love your Telluride shirt!!! Good news on your labs - keep working on that white count. Mr. Crabby is pretty neat looking guy. I'd like to meet him next time I come to visit. Maybe you can fix me up with him and we could go out to dinner (OUCH!!!!)

Hey Josh, we hope you're feeling better today. We were so glad to see you at Thanksgiving. We're so happy to see those WBC's creeping up so you can fight off those infections and get back home soon. Jim's working Sat night if you need anything, just call and he's there!!! We love you.
