Good news and No news... Day 239 09JUL09

The good news for the day was the results of Joshua's bone marrow biopsy. They came back clear! That takes one big thing off of the list of things to be concerned about. We are still awaiting results on all the other blood tests that have been ordered. Hopefully have results first thing in the morning. Joshua's counts eeked up a little today but no major rebound yet. He seems to still be firmly mired in the mud.

Our stay at the St. Joe Chateau looks like it will last a few more idyllic days. We always wanted a summer getaway...

Jamie and Christian came up to the hospital this evening and kept Josh entertained for a while. What that really means is they got beat at every game Josh knows how to play. The more time he spends practicing in the hospital the harder he is getting to beat. Might have something to do with the amount of practice time he gets in.

Renee and I got to spend a little "alone" time together sitting out at the nurses station playing a game. Hey, some is better than none when your a cancer gypsy.

Hey Snuggle Monkey,

Whew!!!!!! What a relief that the bone marrow is clear. Now if the "rest of the story" could be discovered you could beat the gremlin on your back and get home - or better - to camp!

Glad to hear Mom and Dad got a few minutes of "alone" time. Like your Dad said, "some is better than none".

Keep kicking butt Mighty Warrior - you are The Champion.

Tons of Love, Hugs and Kisses,

Nonna
