Day 13 Update - 25NOV08

Josh had a good day. We spent the morning working on all of the school work he has missed so far, he is reading very well and amazes me with how quickly he learns.

We are hopeful that his white count will have begun to climb back up in time for Thanksgiving dinner. It needs to be above 500 for him to be at a reduced risk for infection.

The first and second day of a chemo treatment seem to be his worst, heavy fatigue, etc... by the third day, today, he is back to his old self. He does seem to tire out much more quickly than before but I guess that is to be expected.

Renee got Joshua all caught up on your comments this evening, please keep them coming he hears each and every one.

Howdie Josh. Athena & I wanted to wish you & your family a Happy Thanksgiving. We're happy to see your home & we pray right along with everyone else that you continue on your warriors journey of kicking Germ butt. We've been following right along with all your progress & your doing great. Tell mom to call or email if she needs anything & Athena said to let her know if you need anything too. Arts & crafts or Books or anything. We'd like to come visit, but we know your in the tricky balance stage right now. Keep up your blogging and know that we're right there with you. Your one AWSOME WARRIOR Josh. Keep it up dude (that's from Athena).

Love & God Bless, your in our thoughts & prayers daily sweetie. Hug momma big from us.

Hey Joshua, so glad you are home and love all the photos. You are one tough fella!! Great job on the bravery beads. It's so cool that your parents set up this site so we can talk with you and see your progress. I know your Mom is very happy you are home for Thanksgiving. Yea, that chemo does kick some serious cancer butt, and we know it does work ;) Hope you and Jarrod have fun with the Raiders of the Lost Ark game. Keep on doing the great job you are and soon we'l be able to come and visit. Take care, Love, Miss Laura

Good Morning Little Snuggle Monkey.

You are looking absolutely more awesome every day. I am praying that your white count goes up enough for you to enjoy Thanksgiving with all your family and friends. We have so much to be thankful for this year - and you are right at the top of the list!

Tell your Mom, Dad and beautiful big brother Jarrod I love them - give them hugs and kisses from me.

Keep fighting LSM - you're gonna win!

Love, hugs and kisses

Gramma Linda

ps Are you wearing Uncle Eric's Pancake Man shirt? Ask your Dad to take a picture of you with it on.
