Day 18 Update - 30NOV08

Joshua had a good day, his WBC is down to zero again so he is staying for a while. He is scheduled to have more chemo tomorrow which will help fight the leukemia but will not do much for his WBC. Josh may have to stay in the hospital for several weeks this time but we are hoping it will be shorter. He has not quite gotten back to his old self yet, still pretty tired. He did get a nice bath today and got his hair washed. Chef Dad made, at his request, Macaroni and Cheese and delivered it this afternoon. I don't think it will last very long. Jarrod got to spend the day with Scott, Alecia, Taylor, and Avery. He had a great time! Renee is still staying with Josh at the hospital. The weather turned rainy today and will cool off (notice I am not using the "cold" word for Uncle Eric's sake) but will be back to nice weather by the end of the week. The bear in the picture with Josh is his "long-neck" bear who came from the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum way up at Whitefish Point, Michigan... He is used to the "cool" weather...

Good Morning Little Snuggle Monkey,

I am glad to hear your bear is accustomed to "cool" weather. I bet he can keep you warm. I hope you get to feeling better very soon and that you are able to go home. I know Mom, Dad and Jarrod would like that too. Keep fighting little snuggle monkey - you are the warrior in the family!
I think about you all the time and keep praying for healing. Lots of people stop by the gallery or call every day asking about you and they are praying also.

Hang in there and stay tough. I love you and miss you. Say hello to your beautiful brothers, sister Jamie and Mom and Dad. I love them too.

Love, hugs and kisses

Gramma Linda

Josh, I'm sorry to hear you're back in the hospital. It's nice to see you have an appetite for the good food!! The last picture you look a lot like Jarrod. Everyone at church is praying for you and your family. Get those counts up so you can come home.

Dear Josh and family. We found your website on blogger and want you to know you are in our thoughts and prayers. We would love to send you messages if you would like and share a laugh with you. Gabriel I think is close to your age and he is a great friend. Gabe is 8 and Braelinn is 10. We are a family of 7 and there are older kids too. We are grateful your Mom posted your story so we can get the chance to know you. Keep your spirits bright and know you have friends in Mcdonough GA. Hugs from the Thomassens
