Little steps... Day 114 6MAR09

Joshua is taking little steps. His ANC is up to 221 today. He still has a fever of 100.5 which we just can not seem to shake. Doctor Tebbi says it is a virus that he is holding at bay. As his white counts come up he should be able to fight it off even better.

He was eating a little better today. He is stuck on tuna salad and skittles, not together at least. Dr. Tebbi was happier today when he found out that Joshua is eating a little more.

For the short term we are stuck in the hospital. Josh has got to be fever free and get his counts up before they are going to let him escape.

Hope its soon.

Okey Dokey buddy, tuna is good for you - it has lots of protein. I agree with Jamie, I don't think a skittles and tuna mix would be very good. So glad your ANC is still climbling and just have to get rid of that nasty germ causing the fever.

I will be talking to your Mom in the morning to catch up on the news and will come by Monday - after I terminate any germs I could be carrying. Love, Miss Laura

Hey Snaggle Snuggle Monkey,

I am happy to hear tuna salad is invading your tummy. I hope it takes up a long term residency.

Sorry to hear the fever is still hanging around but glad to hear your counts are rising. I hope they keep going up, you keep eating and that you can throw that stinking fever out the window and never see it again.

Tons of germ free Love, Hugs and Kisses,

Nonna
