Monster pill… Day 1072 24OCT11

Joshua got up early and headed off to clinic to get labs and and his chemo. He got his port accessed and then got blood drawn for his CBC. Next up was respiratory with his pentam breathing treatment. After a wait his ANC came back at 1800 which is a little higher than normal and has left us wondering why his counts dipped so bad a couple of weeks back and are now higher. His chemo dosing has been modified because of his counts so that probably has a lot to do with it. Next he got his vincristine push and then de-accessed and sent home. We also go tot take the lock off of the steroids monsters cage today but are hoping he doesn't notice and stays asleep inside.

The afternoon was spent with both boys working to get back up to speed on school work. When I got home from work we all kicked back a bit until it was time to head off to bed.

Joshua has some testing at the virtual school office in the morning and we are hoping that the chemo fog will hold of until he is done.

Hey Snuggle Monkey,

Yes. Let's all hope the steroid monster stays inside.

And bummer that you have to be tested right after chemo. I'm hoping you are able to see through the fog and do well. It would be better though if they could re-schedule.

Keep kickin butt Mighty Warrior. You are my Champion.

Tons of Love, Hugs and Kisses,

Nonna
