Skating lessons… Day 1064 16OCT11

Joshua got up early and went to church with Renee and then headed over to grandma and pa's house to hang out with Taylor and Avery. Jarrod and I had a quiet morning and then got ready to head up to our afternoon skate at the rink.

Pa brought all the kids up and we got their skates on along with some extra padding and took them out on the ice. Neither Taylor nor Avery had ever been ice skating before so we stuck with them for a while and showed them the basics. Jarrod did a great job of helping Avery get going. We all had a good skate and enjoyed the afternoon.

When we got home it was time to rest for a bit and then get dinner on the table. Jarrod wanted to go outside for a bit after we ate so Joshua and I grabbed our skates and we all took a run down the street and back and then practiced a little until the sun crept down. It was a beautiful evening with a nice breeze and we all enjoyed the fresh air quite a bit.

Tomorrow is clinic for Joshua to check and see if his counts have risen back up to where they belong which is what we are hoping for.
